"Probiotics" - from the Greek, meaning "for life" the term medically referred to as a group of "friendly bacteria" or "microflora". Trillions of bacteria and other microbes inhabit our digestive tract making it possible to digest food, absorb nutrients, and fight off infections and disease. Without microflora our entire digestive system would collapse after eating a piece of fruit that hadn't been properly washed. Intestinal microflora make it possible to fight off toxic bacteria, such as E. coli and Salmonella, and pass waste matter efficiently through the body, ultimately creating a healthy immune system. Starvation would occur without sufficient microflora as the nutrients we consume would not be absorbed.
Our bodies are filled with millions of bacteria, some of which are essential to life while others cause disease and illness. The human digestive tract carries over 400 distinct microorganisms. The number of microorganisms in the body far exceeds the number of tissue cells, making up nearly four pounds of body weight. Too often antibiotics are prescribed to patients who visit the doctor with a cold, even though it is most likely a viral infection, not bacterial. While antibiotics are often life saving, they also can have negative side effects. Antibiotics are not targeted to kill specific infectious bacteria, thus destroying the essential life saving ones needed for proper immune function and digestion. After exposure to antibiotics our body must work overtime to regenerate the good bacteria, which are so important for good health.
Commercially raised animals for meat and dairy products are exposed to some 30 different antibiotics, all approved for use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). These antibiotics are as detrimental to good bacteria as they are to bad. The western diet, which contains high levels of processed flours, sugars, preservatives and chlorinated water, as well as increased stress levels are factors leading to improper balance of intestinal flora. Current farming techniques indiscriminately remove bacteria in the soil from which our fruits and vegetables are grown. Giving antibiotics to the animals from which we get our dairy products is also another negative in the balance of good vs. bad bacteria. Now more than ever there is a need to replenish the probiotics missing from our diets.
Syntol AMD "Advanced Microflora Delivery"
Typical probiotic formulas contain competing strains of bacteria. These strains can be cannibalistic or fight for the same food sources. Simply adding more strains of bacteria to a probiotic does not necessarily make it more effective and in some cases can actually have an adverse effect. Syntol AMD contains 100% complementary microflora in capsule form. Typical probiotics are sold in tablet form. Tablets are easier and cheaper to manufacture, but are much more difficult to absorb than powdered capsules and in some cases require refrigeration to survive. Syntol AMD uses spore germination technology, a revolutionary new process, that delivers probiotic spores rather than living bacteria. Probiotic spores are dormant life forms that protect the bacteria from acidic conditions, as well as extreme heat and cold. These spores then attach themselves to the inside of the intestinal mucosa and begin to germinate forming the probiotic bacteria. Spore germination technology is an extremely dependable means for delivering probiotics in less than ideal conditions. Spore germinated probiotics do not require glass packaging or refrigeration.
Syntol Synbiotic Formulation
Syntol is a combination of probiotics and prebiotics more commonly referred to and classified as synbiotics. Prebiotics are nondigestible food ingredients that stimulate the growth and activity of probiotics. These prebiotics create the essential environments for probiotics as well as our own indigenous bacteria to flourish. Syntol uses Fructo-oligosaccharides or FOS as a prebiotic. FOS also referred to as neosugar and short-chain FOS is completely resistant to bodily digestion. These neosugars pass safely through the stomach and small intestine. They act to stimulate the growth of probiotics and bifidobacteria in the large intestine by fermenting and creating ideal conditions for microflora colonization.
Powerful Candida Yeast Cleanse
Some doctors argue that 60 to 80 percent of the population may be affected by an overgrowth of Candida yeast. Much of this is caused by the overuse of prescription antibiotics. If left untreated the yeast can form a fungus, developing rhizoids (plant like roots) that penetrate and attach themselves to the inside of the intestinal wall. These roots can dig deep enough to cause permeability (leakage) in the intestinal tract and allow toxic material to flow into the blood. This condition is known as Leaky Gut Syndrome (LGS). Beneficial bacteria also attach themselves to the intestinal wall helping to repair and clean the mucosa rather than destroy it. Bad bacteria, good bacteria, and Candida all fight for available attachment points along the intestinal wall. When enough beneficial probiotics are introduced Candida are overtaken and normal intestinal flora may colonize in their place.
Yeast thrives in extremely anaerobic (non-oxygenated) conditions. Syntol facilitates an extremely oxygenated environment preventing the growth of additional yeast colonies and provides the perfect conditions for indigenous bacterial growth. In addition Syntol is extremely effective at removing Candida yeasts that have already attached to the digestive tract. Candida albicans are composed of an outer protective protein layer. Under this shell Candida is primarily composed of cellulose (cell walls) and N-acetyl-glucosamine (Chitin). Syntol uses the extremely potent blend of protease (protein digesting), celluslase (cellulose digesting), and chitosinase (chitin digesting) enzymes. These enzymes strip away the Candida's protective protein shell and begin digesting its cellular infrastructure. Syntol contains a powerful intestinal cleanse to assist in the removal of dead yeast and other bad bacteria from the body. This will protect the body from experiencing detox symptoms from toxins given off from the elimination of yeast.
